Is Nike Zoom Vomero 5 Taking Over Summer 23?
Nike dropped the first Zoom Vomero under their running line in 2006. By 2010 the Vomero 5 was in production. The fifth version was redesigned for a smoother running experience.
Moreover, in 2018 Nike collaborated with A-Cold-Wall, transforming and reviving the inactive sneaker model from running to lifestyle. That next year Drake wore a new colorway on his European "Assassination Vacation" tour.
Maximizing futurism meets retro trends. The sneakers are fitted with mesh and synthetic uppers, giving them texture and depth, and sit atop a nostalgic chunky sole. Underfoot, Zoom Air cushioning promises continuous comfort with every step. Its cushioned foam sole delivers an ultra-responsive feel with each step. Last year Nike tested the waters with a couple of drops of Vomero 5s in the market. They were trending all over social media, and now we are getting more colorways as general releases this year.
The sneaker retails at $160. Stay tuned for availability updates. Images via Nike.
